Lerro 1957

Today I am going to present a house which was one of my first old houses. It is a Lerro house which was dated by the seller to 1957. I have checked it up and it could be correct. The seller lived in Anneberg, a small village outside Gothenburg. Siv, a friend of mine was very helpful and picked it up for med and took care of the arrangement for the delivery up to my place. Thank you Siv for your help. And therefore have I named the house "Anneberg".

Idag vill jag visa er ett av mina första äldre hus i samlingen. Det är ett Lerro som säljaren daterat till 1957. Jag har kollat dateringen och det kan mycket väl stämma. Säljaren bodde i Anneberg, utanför Göteborg. Siv, en god vän till mig var så hjälpsam och hämtade dockskåpet och arrangerade hela frakten upp till mig. Tack så mycket Siv för all din hjälp! Så därför har jag döpt huset till Anneberg.

The floors, wallpapers etc. are all in original condition. I have tried to decorate it with furniture from the mid-1950s and at the moment it is furnished with a mix of furniture mainly from Lerro and Lundby. It had no curtains when I bought it so I had to fix that. In the bedroom I have put up and old  curtain while it in the other rooms is newly made curtains homemade by me.

Golv och väggar osv är helt i original skick. Jag har försökt att möblera huset med möbler från mitten av 1950-talet och för tillfället är det en mix av mestadels möbler från Lundby and Lerro. Huset hade inga gardiner så i sovrummet har jag satt upp en gammal gardin, men fönsterna i de andra rummen har fått nysydda gardiner, gjorda av mig själv.

 

 

We start the tour in the kitchen. The table and chairs is Lundy’s from 1950s but the kitchen units are Lerro’s and the refrigerator is rather rare to find, so I am so lucky to have it. The wallpapers I think is rather boring but this is what it was in many kitchen and bathrooms in dollhouses from the 1950s.

Vi startar rundturen i köket. Bordet och stolarna är Lundbys från 1950-talet men köksenheterna är från Lerro och kylskåpet är en raritet och svår att få tag på. Jag är väldigt glad att jag har det. Tapeter som ser ut som pappkartong är inte så särskilt skojiga tycker jag men det var ganska vanligt på den hör tiden att man tapetserade kök och badrum i dockhus på detta sätt.

 

 

In the sofas in the living room, two gentlemen are sitting drinking Brandy. The sofas are made by Lerro and are from the mid-1950s. The serving trolley (I showed you that in a former post) I just love.

 

In the other corner of the living room a popular chair "Fladdermusfåtöljen" from 1950s is in a miniature size. It is made by Lundby and was made in a couple of different colors.

 

Upstairs in the bedroom the beds are made by Lundby and I think they have their original bed clothing left. The curtain is an old curtain which I have put up. The Picture on the wall is from Tuna Kullan which I bought in a second hand store for over 20 years ago and it had finally got a home. The rocking chair I think is Lundby from late 1950s. The lamp in the ceiling is probably from 1960s but I think it fits in very well here. 

Sovrummet, på övre plan, är möblerat med sängmöbler från Lundby och jag tror de har sina original täcken kvar. Gardinen är en gammal som jag satt upp. Målningen på väggen är från Tuna Kullan som jag köpte för över 20 år sen i en loppis/affär och som nu äntligen fått ett hem. Gungstolen tror jag är från Lundby och från 1950-talet. Lampan i taket är nog 60-tal men passar rätt så bra här tycker jag.
